My Teaching...
I believe that art is a way to not only grow critically thinking students inside the classroom, but outside it as well. It goes past the barrier of 'art classroom' and can help students better understand themselves through the expression of their identity and creativity through artworks. As an artist-teacher, I'll help them through discovering themselves through art.

My Artwork
Paintings
Painting is my main form of fine art out of comic book character creation. I paint realistic items on various media at different sizes.
Digital Paintings
Unlike traditional paintings, digital paintings are done within a digital format. I use an iPad with Clip Studio Paint or Procreate. Within my digital paintings, I focus on portraiture within scenes. My style tends to be cartoonish, falling in line with my other digital works.
Character Creation
As a comic book artist and animator, drawing characters from different views is important. Creating characters is a long process that includes many different artworks and sketches.

This is an 8 page comic done in an 1980's style
