Comic Curriculum

This 7 week curriculum focuses on the creation of comics through personal identity and experience.

It merges contemporary storytelling with formal elements of perspective, crosshatching, and color theory. Diving into the history of comics first, I used Scott McCloud's Understanding Comics to identify the use of comics as a way to tell time through a static medium to push their creative thinking.

This is made at a Secondary Level for 9th-10th grade students. Rubrics are included at the bottom.
